The Importance of Art in Our Lives

For me, art is one of the glitches in the matrix. I am talking about living art, vibrating art. Even though AI today generates rapid and mind-blowing results - and its ease is almost tempting - my answer remains no. I love the process far too much. As uncomfortable, slow, and intense as it may be, to me, it is a true therapy. In a sense, I am speaking more of craftsmanship: the creative process and everything it encompasses.

Here are the stages from my point of view:

This process of translating the invisible into the visible, or simply capturing something seemingly mundane, daily, and simple, can sometimes take a vast amount of linear, earthly time. Some works have infused for 20 years... others for 7 years... allowing me to place myself entirely at the service of the message and the artwork, and to learn patience. Other works and channels, however, are blindingly fast, urgent, lightning flashes... they have a visceral need to break out as quickly as possible, bypassing the mind completely. These are two different natures, two essences forming the exact same coin: that of living transmission from the inside out.

To create is a matter of life or death. If I stop creating, I die. To dig deep within oneself, to observe emotions, to transform them, to transmute them, to give material life to an idea, a vision... that is the magic of creation. And sometimes, I don’t even transform the chaos. I just let it be, capturing it raw in words, images, sounds, or videos. Because chaos is an integral, necessary part of the universe and of life, and letting it breathe is a relief. Making art saved my life. Making art is a Divine therapy. 

In most cases, it is about turning the immaterial into hard, tangible matter. It is the work of an alchemist. And we are all alchemists, at different levels and in different fields.

Life is a vast canvas, and everyone holds their own brush. You choose your paint, your textures, the quality of your materials, the atmosphere of your painting, the time you dedicate to it—whether you explore, find true inspiration, or merely make a pale copy. You decide everything. The absolute free will of experience.
